“Partnering with CVT has transformed our approach to education.

For over two years, their bespoke learning environment, dedicated staff, and specialised equipment have been a lifeline for our students, ensuring they reengage and thrive. With increased attendance, improved attitudes, and reduced exclusions, Clydach Lakes has become integral to our curriculum planning, fostering student success and wellbeing.

It’s more than a partnership; it’s a cornerstone of our commitment to student achievement and parental support.”

Parent Testimonials

“CVT has been a great experience for my son who really struggles with the school environment. CVT has given my son more of an opportunity (than what the school setting can provide) to engage in practical and physical activities, which is perfect for his learning style.
He’s thoroughly enjoyed attending and as result this has had a positive impact on his behaviour, motivation and emotional well-being.
My son doesn’t trust many adults in a position of authority, but he has really taken to CVT staff who have been fantastic with him.”

Tonyrefail Community School

“Cambrian Village Trust has been a reliable and professional partner for Tonyrefail Community School. Communication is always clear and timely, and their support has made a real difference to our learners. We would gladly recommend their services to other schools.”

Parent Testimonials

“CVT gave my son a lifeline and was run the way that he could access education. The demands of a mainstream provision were challenging for him, provision like CVT should be accessible to all schools. It will lead to a qualification that he may not have been able to receive in the restraints of a school setting.

The provision was also very good for his well-being and mental health. He always looked forward to a Friday. Thank you for providing him with this opportunity.

Parent Testimonials

“My son is coming on brilliantly since attending Cambrian Trust, they really understand his needs and look out for his wellbeing. He has a 1to1 tutor, who keeps lessons short to keep him engaged. They support his wellbeing by taking him out for walks and encourage him to take on other activities. He has managed to build health relationships with staff, and they are very supportive.

His anxiety levels have started to decrease due to the routine of attending and the support he receives, this has been a fantastic opportunity for him, and I feel his confidence levels are rising because of the work they do with him.”

My son didn’t enjoy going to school and to go to lesson and concentrate as he struggled with his dyslexia since he has started with the provision for CVT he is really enjoying the CVT provision and is doing his best in school to behave and go to lesson as he wants to continue with the CVT provision, it is really nice to see him get up and want to go to the provision.

“This service has absolutely transformed my autistic grandson’s life; it has helped him to trust and learn in a safe non-judgemental environment and develop his social and relationship skills whilst doing something he enjoys. They respect and embrace his differences and allow him to be himself. His confidence has grown massively since attending Clydach and he now has transferable skills which he takes back into the school environment, where he was struggling greatly. As a family we cannot thank Miles, Mikey, Rhys and all the other team members enough, you have helped shape a young boy’ s future and it now looks much brighter due to the input of all your fantastic team! THANK YOU”
